BYO Flash Jam for Charity   

BYO Members, join our BYO Flash Jam on Saturday September 29 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Busicians will gather at Alexis Estates Retirement Community in Allen Texas to play music for residents of the facility. Please sign up in advance so we will know how many are coming. To make this activity accessible to all of our members we have created Version 2 of our BYO Songbook (download below). We will select songs from this book so all of our members will have an opportunity to learn the songs in advance.

This will be primarily an acoustic affair, perfect for stringed instruments, although if you want to bring a bass or keyboard with a small amp that is fine. There is a piano on site for our use. We encourage percussionists to bring small instruments such as bongos, cajon, shakers, anything relatively portable and not too loud (be creative). 

We definitely need vocalists for lead and harmony in addition to playing our instruments. This will be our first time at Alexis Estates and they are very excited to have us.
